High1 Resort, operated by Kangwon Land, is accelerating preparations for its opening, including starting artificial snow removal, ahead of the opening of the winter ski season on the 6th of next month.
High1 Resort began installing safety fences last month, and has so far installed 24km of the total 28km slope section, and plans to complete installation of the remaining sections by the 29th.
After completing inspections of approximately 90 snowplows to ensure the best snow quality, the first artificial snow removal operation was carried out on the 18th when the temperature dropped below zero.
